Goregaon - The residents of Aarey Colony here are facing inconvenience due to insufficient healthcare facilities at the only civic hospital here. There are total 27 tribal villages in Aarey Colony but there is only one hospital for them. The hospital is expected to be open 24X7 but it is opened at the designated time and date. Besides this, there is a lack of healthcare facilities. Even an ambulance is also not available at this hospital. In respect of human resource, only one BMS doctor, four nurses, one pharmacist and other 10 employees are posted in this hospital. The hospital functions only between 10 am to 4 pm.
