The railways have been upfront in improving the infrastructural conditions in and around the premises across Mumbai and its suburbs. Recently, the work of re-alignment of curves and removal of diamond crossings as well as points on Harbour lines at Mahim was successfully completed on August 21, 2022.
In yet another such step, the Western Railways (WR) has announced that the North side staircase of Middle Foot Over Bridge (FoB) at Platform No. 4 at Kandivali station will remain closed for rebuilding work upto October 29, 2022. This came into effect from today, August 26.
According to an official statement released by Sumit Thakur, Chief Public Relations Officer of Western Railway, during this period passengers may use the South side staircase of this FOB and the other two FOBs available at Platform No. 4. Inconvenience caused due to this closure is deeply regretted by WR.
