U Mumba are having a terrible run at home as they fall to their third successive defeat against Dabang Delhi on Sunday at Dome, NSCI SVP Stadium in the Mumbai leg of Pro Kabaddi League Season 5.

It was a closely contested match as Dabang Delhi won 32-33. The home team suffered the first all out of the match in the 15th minute but Anup Kumar and Shrikant Jadhav kept the pressure on the Delhi defense and somehow pulled it back. The score at half time was 17-17.

Anup Kumar tried to bring his team back in the game and U Mumba kept the game alive until the last minute. But it came down to them needing to score three points in the last 20 seconds. They scored two of them and the score was 32-33 at the end of the match.

Our defense is the reason we are losing crucial points and that is costing us matches,” U Mumba captain, Anup Kumar.

On Saturday, Puneri Paltan edged the home side 26-24 after what seemed to be a brilliant comeback from the Pune team.

The Anup Kumar-led team was dominant for most parts of the match but fell short in the last 5 minutes.

Mumba next play Gujarat Fortunegiants after a day’s rest. They’re in dire need of winning the upcoming game after a disappointing run of games at home.
