CKP delicacies on your plate

Mulund - If you are a true blue Mumbaikar, it's hardly possible that you haven't heard of CKP cuisine, that distinctive style of Maharastrian cooking so well known across western Maharastra for its distinctive flavours.
If you were in Mulund over the weekend, you could have sampled these delicacies at the two day long CKP khadya yagna. Women from the CKP community had ample opportunity to show off their culinary skills at this Kayastha Khadya Yagna organised for the first time by the Mulund Mandal. Popular as well as experimental CKP non-vegetarian dishes made their way to the various food stalls that lined the yagna.
There were regulars like kheema cutlets, prawn khichdi and also innovations like chicken sev puri , chicken panipuri,dry fish dabeli. Along with food stalls utility stalls like bank, tours, and travels, insurance were also spotted at this food festival.
