Shivaji Park - Shivaji Park’s ‘Selfie Point’ is been decorated with different types of lanterns. One will get to see different colours and various types of lanterns at this point. This is the brain child of corporator Sandeep Deshpande, Santosh Dhuri and artist Sureshchandra Tarkar. These lanterns have enhanced the look of selfie point. “We try to give different avatar to the Selfie Point all the time. Initially, we had placed umbrellas, butterflies and then colourful fishes. This Diwali, we thought of doing something different and so we made 60 different types of lanterns which we have placed at the selfie point. We took almost 15-20 days to complete these lanterns”, said Sureshchandra Tarkar, artist.
