With an aim to create awareness about getting medical help in an emergency situation after an accident and the golden hour i.e. the first few hours, how this help can be provided in time, Medicover Hospital, Navi Mumbai organized a visit to Kalamboli, Kharghar, CBD Belapur, Nerul and Vashi in Navi Mumbai on the occasion of World Trauma Day. An awareness campaign was organized on Monday, October 17 at five locations at the signal in the main square.

This awareness campaign organized with the traffic department was started from Kharghar. After that Kalamboli, CBD- Belapur, it ended in Vashi. At this time, the head of the emergency department of Medicover Hospital, Dr. Abhijit Sawat, Consultant Brain and Spine Surgeon. Dr. Harish Naik, Consultant Trauma and Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon. Nitish Arora, Consultant Arthroscopic surgeon Dr. Sharif Dudkela, General and Laparoscopic Surgeon. Sangram Karandikar and Consultant Spine Surgeon Dr. Dr. Burhan Salim's team guided the traffic department staff and citizens on how to provide medical assistance to a patient in an emergency after an accident, why it is important to get this help in the golden hour i.e. the first few hours.

Talking about the emergency medical care, police sub-inspector of Vashi's traffic branch Shahadi Kadam said that after an accident, it is necessary to get immediate medical help to the patient. The guidance given by the senior doctors of Medicover Hospitals to provide this assistance will definitely be beneficial to us. Senior Police Sub-Inspector Bapurao Deshmukh and Police Sub-Inspector Ashok Kanse of Vashi Traffic Branch were also present on this occasion.

If the patient gets help in time during the golden hour i.e. the first few hours, it is definitely beneficial to save the patient's life.
