On August 15, it's #FreedomBandh as the Social outlets across all cities, except Bangalore, go dry - but Social will, however, be open as per usual and serve dishes from the menu.

The Great Indian Water Crisis is also your Crisis. The privileged, educated human beings are the most fascinating of all sapiens. One may observe them thriving in their natural habitat, shielded by their walls, and buoyed by their unearned confidence. Because the planet is theirs to inherit, they hose, wash, shower, splash, shop, binge, discard, and waste. And when posts talk about the very ground running out of water, they write with an orchestrated flourish, "OMG, how is this happening? #Onebucketchallenge ftw" says Trisha Bose
