Many men, over the last many years, have been contesting for the title of Mr India, and a handful of them from the list have also become successful in making a career in the modeling, media and entertainment industry, including the most recent addition Rohit Khandelwal, who went on to win the first ever Mr World title for the country in 2016.

This year too many handsome, chiseled and intellectual men participated in Peter England Mr India 2017 contest, the finale of which was held today at Bandra fort. By winning hearts of the judges and impressing everyone, Jitesh Singh Deo from Lucknow won the prestigious title and will go on to represent India at Mr World 2020.

Another contestant Prathamesh Maulingkar bagged the title of Mr India Supranational 2017 and will be seen at Mr Supranational 2018 as the face from India. Abhi Khajuria and Pavan Rao were the first and second runner-ups respectively.

Fierce and feisty Kangana Ranaut felicitated the winners and joined the celebration where 16 contestants from many places in India came together for the finale.

Rohit Khandelwal who made a mark with his victory on the international platform in 2016, was felicitated with ‘Icon Of The Year,’ who also groomed the men for the contest.
