LG Electronics has announced its 2021 lineup of “DUALCOOL” Inverter Air Conditioners in India with features like UV Nano Sterilization, HD Filter with Anti-Virus Protection, and more. The company also launched dedicated air purification oriented ACs and Wi-Fi enabled ACs which can be managed via voice commands. It’s worth noting that the entire lineup of the new ACs is available with the acclaimed 5 Star BEE rating.

There are a total of 54 models to choose from, giving you options across a varying price range and categories. Focusing on the energy efficiency aspect, the company’s Super Convertible 5-in-1 air conditioners can potentially reduce energy use from 100% to 80% to 60% or 40%. These ACs can also increase cooling capacity to 110% when required.

In addition to bearing with the heat, LG has also launched AC models with Hot & Cold features that serve as an alternative to conventional oil heaters. Further, variants with the enhanced air purification technology will offer PM 1.0 air purification as well as an ion diffuser and filtration system with anti-allergic filters and a micro dust filter.

The company is also bringing its ThinQ technology over to air conditioners. This tech has been implemented on LG’s smartphones, televisions, and other appliances so far. The presence of ThinQ allows the new LG ACs to be controlled via Alexa or Google Assistant based smart speakers.
The company talks about a special ocean black protection on both indoor and outdoor units that enhance the durability of the air conditioner in conditions that are dominated by salt, sand, industrial smoke as well as pollutants, thus making it suitable for a region like Mumbai.
