Popular actress Sana Saeed turns entrepreneur!
The girl famous for her role from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, recently launched her apparel line ‘ISU- the last fling with Summer’ along with Rashi Menda founder of an e-commerce portal Zapyle.com. The capsule includes a trendy collection which should be part of every millennial woman's closet. The collection has a lot of florals, polkas, stripes and is full of vibrant colours.
Sana dedicated her couple of weeks during which she sat with the team of designers to curate the whole collection. Talking about her new venture the actress said, “Our new venture is all about comfort and I'm happy to present brand ISU along with Zapyle started by Rashi Menda. She is the name behind these brands and together we are playing with a lot of colours, bringing the popular styles of the 80’s with polka dots and stripes. I think our label will be known for being comfortable and about being you.”
Adding further, Rashi Menda stated, “ISU has been created for every millennial woman. Being a millennial woman myself, I have realised that we try it too hard to fit into those tight fitted dresses. Gone are the days where we should try hard to impress. Instead, I believe we should spend a lot of time understanding different body types in India, as they are very different in India from the rest of the world. When we thought about reaching to the right audience, we immediately agreed that we'll look for someone with a thorough understanding of fashion and that’s how Sana came into the picture.”
Sana Saeed believes that everybody’s style is accepted in the judgemental glamour world, and any one who has the zeal to try something new is given a warm welcome. “For me, ‘comfort’ is the priority. I am never overdressed or underdressed for any occasion. I focus on just having fun with what I am wearing. I love polkas, bell bottoms and many such beautiful patterns which look good on everyone”, avers the actress on her style statement.
