Nala Sopara – Social media has its own advantages and disadvantages. Sometimes it has helped to detect a missing person while in other stance, it has killed many. Amitabh Bachchan, Lata Mangeshkar, Dilip Kumar are few examples who have fallen prey to fake death messages which went viral on social media groups.
Recently, one message is going viral about a missing 10th-grade student of Nala Sopara. This is getting viral along with a photograph. Nala Sopara police cleared the air saying that photo is fake and message too.
“Such incidents takes place out of avenge feeling as the main motive is to harass the victim. Once it goes viral on social media, it becomes difficult to seek out its main source. And the sad part is that no action is taken against such miscreants,” said Vijay Mukhi, cyber crime expert.
