Women’s Self-Help group in demand

Lower Parel- Mumbai’s F-South ward had organized exhibition and sale of items made by women’s self-help group. This was scheduled for two days i.e. 20 and 21st October but was extended until 22nd October on demand. 30 women self-help groups had participated in the exhibition. They had put up imitation jewelry, food packets, incense sticks, dress material, bags, masala’s, papad and perfumes. F-South ward assistant commissioner Vishwas Mote and local corporator Hemangi Chemburkar said that this type of exhibition encourages women.
