As per the latest update, nearly 80% of village Hasnaal continues to remain inundated. Out of the five persons earlier reported missing, four bodies have been recovered, while one individual is still untraced.
Indian Army columns are actively engaged in relocating families to safer areas. To extend immediate humanitarian assistance, a medical camp has been established and food distribution points have been set up to support the affected residents.
The combined stock in the seven reservoirs that provide water to the city now stands at 92.42 per cent.
As per the BMC on August 19, the collective water stock in these reservoirs is 13,37,633 million litres, which amounts to 92.42 per cent of their total capacity.

The catchment areas of these lakes received a total of 174 mm of rainfall in the past 24 hours. On the same date last year, the water stock stood at just 5.31 per cent, or 76,824 million litres.
Of these, Tansa has 9.99 per cent water stock, Modak Sagar 44.78 per cent, Middle Vaitarna 26.47 per cent, Upper Vaitarna 33.35 per cent, Bhatsa 23.14 per cent, Vehar 39.71 per cent, Tansa 30.04 per cent and Tulsi 38.48 per cent.
