Aawaz.com's new concept titled 'Rap wala show' was recently launched at an event held in Mumbai, with a sincere effort to encourage the ongoing trend of rap music and bring understated artists to the limelight.  Some rappers were from Asia’s largest slum- Dharavi also performed for the audience and the show is expected to make a huge impact for the budding rappers.

Talking about the same, Rusabh Vasa co-founder of Agrahya Technologies and Aawaz.com said that Aawaz.com is a platform specially designed for the masses. “We have maintained that the content on this platform will be in the language of the masses. The Rap Wala Show is an attempt to get the unnoticed talent to the audience and for the rappers to get their due recognition. In the recent attack on Indian soldiers, wearing a black band and just lighting a candle won’t help, it’s time we do our bit for the sacrifices that they’ve made. Therefore we decided to come up with a rap condemning the attacks and pledging our support through Bharat Ke Veer foundation.” added Rushabh.

Adding his thought about the platform, Rapper Mc Altaf, said, “Aawaz.com has helped us bring our talent to the public. Their concept of recording our performance and bringing it on a platform like Aawaz.com has helped to bridge the gap between our audience and us. They have bought us closer to our listeners. Rapper Dopeadelicz said that they got recognition from the movie Gully Boy and Aawaz.com helped to take their talent further by giving them a platform to showcase their talent across the world with just the click of their fingers on their mobile app."

India recently woke up to the heartbreaking news of some of our brave soldiers losing lives. Therefore in the wake of the recent attack on Indian CRPF soldiers, the rappers performed a special act showing their distaste for the attack and supporting the Indian Martyrs and their families. All the money collected through the show during the launch went towards families of brave heart soldiers, through the Bharat Ke Veer foundation.

The rappers Mahaarya, Maze022, Vibe Dealer and DJ Blunt were overwhelmed by the response they received.
