Musician and singer Amaal Mallik is no stranger to accolades and fame. The young musician has been known for hit melodies and foot-tapping tracks and is named amongst the country’s most sought after names in the music industry.

One of the most desirable performers of the music business in the Indian subcontinent, Mallik has is been roped in to be the official performer at the IFFM Awards night scheduled to take place on August 8, 2019. Amaal will be performing to a medley of his most popular compositions and renditions at the iconic Palais Theatre.

Talking about the same, Amaal, said, “It’s nothing short of an honour for me to be collaborating with them. It’s a big moment and I want to deliver my very best for the evening. I have been short listing songs for the medley. There will be a few expected and some very unexpected choices from my end. I will spend a good few days to prepare for them before meeting the team in Melbourne.” 

One for the world’s biggest and most reputed orchestras based in Melbourne, the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, will join Amaal for his performance. Boasted as the oldest orchestra in Australia, they’ve previously collaborated with the likes of Elton John, Hans Zimmer & AR Rahman making Amaal the only other Indian Composer to do this.
