Anu Malik composes 'Alvida Phir Kyu Kaha' for AltBalaji's 'Coldd Lassi and Chicken Masala'

The song for the AltBalaji's upcoming webseries has been penned by Manoj Muntashir and sung by Papon and Anmol Malik. The webseries features Divyanaka Tripathi and Rajeev Khandelwal in lead roles.

Living up to the hype and frenzy ahead of its release, ALTBalaji’s Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala has already created mass hysteria amongst the audience with its trailer garnering 4.7m views in the span of a week.

Sparks sure seem to be flying between the lead pair as Rajeev Khandelwal shares screen space with Divya Tripathi Dahiya. Playing the characters of two chefs Vikram and Nitya, romance is sure on the menu as these two stars cook up a delicious entertainer.

Adding another flavour to the love that’s blossoming is national award-winning music director Anu Mallik, who’s composed a soft number titled Alvida Phir Kyu Kaha. The situational track picturized on the two jilted lovers displays the feelings and emotions of incompleteness, longing and heartbreak and the turmoil that one goes through after separating from their lover. The track has been penned by Manoj Muntashir, who has also penned chartbusters like Tere Sang Yaara, Phir Bhi Tumko Chahunga amongst others. The talented Papon has lent his velvet-like voice along with Anmol Malik. With a foot-tapping tune, lyrics that touch one’s soul and lastly two fine singers crooning out this song, there’s a number that’s going to be on top of the charts for a very long time.


Directed by the ace director Pradeep Sarkar, Coldd Lassi Aur Chicken Masala focusses on human relationships and conflicts in the backdrop of gourmet cooking. It will explore love, sorrows, and misunderstanding through the heart-breaking journey of Nitya (Divyanka Tripathi) and Vikram (Rajeev Khandelwal). The show will stream from September 3, 2019, on ALTBalaji and ZEE5.
