Mika Singh and Payal Dev have come together for a dance track, 'Halo re Halo,' which also stars Sharad Malhotra and Helly Shah. It will be after several years that he will lend his voice to a dance track, and this is the first time he has collaborated with Payal Dev. The song was released on Thursday, October 7.
The song, which is by Warner Music India, released a press release stating that it would surely be the festive anthem of the year. The song is produced by Aditya Dev.
This peppy song has traditional Garba beats with a modern twist to it. It is an upbeat and groovy song with a festive vibe to it. Fans were waiting for Helly Shah and Sharad Malhotra's dance video for a long time, and hence the Warner Music India decided to release the song on the first day of Navratri, stated the release.
On the launch, Mika Singh said that "We as a team are really excited for this song! Traditional Garba elements are something that I’ve worked on after quite a long time. Payal dev and Aditya are super talented and our vibe really matches. We are sure that the audiences will dance to this track this festive season."
“Sharing space with Mika Singh is quite amazing! His electrifying energy brings a different kind of Aura to the song. It’s my first collaboration with him and that too for a festive number; we hope that the audience feels the fire," said Payal Dev.
Sharad Malhotra also shared, "I really enjoyed shooting for Halo Re Halo, the beat of the track really got me all energized and excited. "He further added that "I am sure it’s going to be something that people will start grooving to immediately and can’t wait for them to see the video and listen to the track. Mika and Payal Dev have added the zing to the track."
Helly Shah, who is also going to feature in the video, said "This is going to be my first music video, though I have shot for 2 already, but this one is super close to me, as it took me back to my Navratri days. Being a Gujrati I have always enjoyed playing Garba but for the last 2 years due to pandemic, I couldn’t. But I’m so glad; I could relive those days and have a gala time during the shoot. The whole look, vibe, and of course the song in itself is so amazing that one can’t stop grooving to it. Mika is just rocking as usual, and Payal is so soulful, and in person, she’s so warm. I’m really thrilled and excited for this video, and I can’t wait for people to enjoy and be a part of this celebration.”
