Percept Live, creators of Sunburn, announced ‘Sunburn Home Festival 2.0’, a Virtual 2 Day Mega Music Festival which will see the biggest names in the global Music Industry perform on the Sunburn Virtual platform. The second edition of the popular and much-awaited Fest is scheduled from 27th – 28th February 2021 and the electrifying line-up includes some of the biggest names in the international music domain including Don Diablo, Yellow Claw, Nicky Romero and Mariana Bo.
India’s first Virtual Mega Music Festival – ‘Sunburn Home Festival’ was incepted in July 2020 and received a phenomenal response from fans across the country. Given the overwhelming demand, Sunburn has curated a brand new edition – the “Sunburn Home Festival- 2.0”, which will offer a spectacular festival experience, bringing together some of the biggest DJ’s in the electronic dance music industry. The 2-day Virtual Festival will run from 9 pm to 11 pm and feature Nicky Romero and Mariana Bo perform on 27 February followed by Don Diablo and Yellow Claw headline the show on 28 February. With immersive XR technology in 3D design, high-tech video production and groundbreaking SFX, the Sunburn Home Festival 2.0 is designed around an eclectic “NEON GARDEN” theme and will showcase a resplendent, dynamic, liberal, futuristic environment via the use of innovative, state-of-the-art technology, transporting guests into another dazzling dimension.
A key highlight of “Sunburn Home Festival 2.0” is the incorporation of Extended Reality (XR) Technology, which will offer a 360-degree Mixed Reality (MR) environment by virtually combining the Sunburn Neon Garden themed environment and human-machine interaction to generate a new form of surreal reality for the guest. The incorporation of this high-tech XR Technology ensures the next level of Home Entertainment by merging digital objects into the viewer’s physical world and simultaneously transferring physical world objects into the digital world. With thematic larger than life set designs and state-of-the-art Lighting, AV, Sound, SFX and Virtual audience interaction, Sunburn Home Fest 2.0 aims to raise the tech bar even higher to offer fans an amazing, authentic, futuristic festival effect in the safety of their homes.
