On the occasion of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's 61st birthday, Yuva Sena, under the guidance of Youth MP Dr. Srikant Shinde, will observe 'Common Man Day' across Maharashtra on Sunday, February 9, 2025. The initiative was conceptualised by Yuva Sena Working President Purvesh Parisha Pratap Sarnaik. Through this, Yuva Sena will honour 61 ordinary citizens in each of the 36 districts of the state. These 61 people will include ordinary citizens like farmers, labourers, women, health workers, sanitation workers, unorganised workers, students etc.

Yuva Sena conducts social activities every year on the occasion of Deputy Chief Minister Eknathji Shinde birthday. This year as well this concept is being given a more comprehensive form. The recognition of Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde as a representative of the common people spread throughout the country. Initially, CM Eknath Shinde means Common Man and now DCM Eknath Shinde means Dedicated to Common Man, the title has been given to Eknath Shinde by the people.
Yuva Sena Chief Secretary Rahul Londhe has appealed to celebrate Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's birthday every year as 'Common Man Day' in Maharashtra from this year onwards.
