Inauguration of a public toilet in front of D-mart, Malad created a lot of tension among MNS and Congress. Corporators from both the parties are declaring it their work. The inauguration was done at the hands of Congress MLA Aslam Sheikh, the toilet was constructed by the joined efforts of Rabhadia Sevak Sangh and BMC. It is a pay and use toilet. MNS corporator Deepak Pawar has put party's board outside the toilet. As per Deepak, on 18 March 2016, he went to BMC for the paperwork of the public toilet. Mumbai Live contacted Congress corporator Parminder Bhamra for his views, however, Bhamra was unavailable for comment.
