Patanjali made quite a stir when it announced a new COVID-19 drug. The medicine is called Coronil and claims to be an Ayurvedic medicine for COVID-19 that Patanjali claims has managed to cure 69 per cent patients in three days while 100 per cent patients recovered in seven days. So far Indian Council of Medical Research or Ministry of Ayurveda, Yoga & Naturopathy has not backed the claims for the efficacy of this medicine.
Today Maharashtra Home Minister Maharashtra Anil Deshmukh put in a fresh shot at this drug. As per the agency ANI, Anil Deshmukh said that [Maharahstra] govt will take legal action against Patanjali if they try to advertise or sell their anti-Corona drug. The reason for the strong stand as AYUSH Ministry is yet to approve the medicine:

On June 23, Ayush ministry ordered Patanjali to stop advertisement for the products and asked for the details of the medicine. It said that medicine should come to the ministry first.
Even then, Anil Deshmukh welcomed the move by the Ministry of AYUSH to ban the advertisement of the Patanjali drug. He said that claims of curing coronavirus without sharing clinical trials, sample size details can’t be acceptable.
Deshmukh asserted that there can be no compromise with public health and well being in any case while adding that the drug which claims to cure COVID-19 should be registered with the authorities first.
“Claims of a cure for Corona without sharing clinical trials, sample size details, registration with authorities can't be acceptable. It's great that Ministry of AYUSH banned such advt. There can be no compromise with public health & well-being at all! (sic),” the Maharashtra Home Minister tweeted.
Maharashtra is on the top of the list for the states that have been impacted by coronavirus outbreak. There are over1.4 lakh cases reported for the state as of June 25 and the death toll is over 6,700.
