Mumbai - With the name Maratha, all may start thinking about the Maratha silent marches that have rocked the entire state in last few months. But his time, the name is not associated with any social organisation but it is a political party named as ‘Rashtriya Maratha Paksh’. Earlier, the Sambhaji Brigade has entered the electoral fray and now this new party is rising on the political horizon. Vikas Patil is the executive president of this newly born political party who announced its entry into the battle for votes.
Patil said that his party would take up issues like reservation, Ram temple, farmers’ woes etc. The party has also decided to contest 100 seats in the BMC election this time. It would soon be revealed how this party will fare in these critical elections.
