BJP wins two seats in Prabhag - A

CST – The BJP has won two seats in prabhag-A where the least number of candidates were in the fray for the BMC election. Shiv Sena candidate  won from this ward but Congress could not open its account here though it had two corporators from this ward in the last term.

Ward no. 225 in Prabhag A was reserved for SC woman candidate. Sujata Sanap won from this seat with 10,388 votes defeating Yojana Thokale of the BJP. BJP’s Harshita Narvekar registered an impressive win by securing 11,053 votes while Makrand Narvekar emerged victorious from ward no. 227.
