The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has announced the date of the draw to determine reservations for the 2025 general elections. According to this date, the reservation draw will take place on November 11, 2025. After the draft reservations are published on November 14, 2025, objections and suggestions will be available from November 14 to 20, 2025.
Draw to determine reservations
A draw of lots will be held to determine reservation for Scheduled Castes (Women), Scheduled Tribes (Women), Backward Classes (Civilians), Backward Classes (Civilians) and General Women for the 2025 General Elections to the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation.
Draft reservation published on November 14, 2025
The draw will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at 11:00 AM at 'Balgandharva Rangmandir, Ground Floor, Auditorium, Opposite National College, Bandra (West), Mumbai.'
Subsequently, the draft reservation will be published on Friday, November 14, 2025. Objections and suggestions to the draft reservation can be submitted from Friday, November 14, to Thursday, November 20, 2025, at 3:00 PM. A final reservation notification will be published after considering the objections and suggestions submitted.
Meanwhile, the address of the office concerned with the election ward and other details for filing objections and suggestions as per the said reservation are available on the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation website https://www.mcgm.gov.in/irj/portal/anonymous/qlBMCGE2025 .
