Mumbai - The Bombay High Court, on Friday, delivered an important judgment. The candidates winning the elections will have to submit their caste verification and validity certificates within six months or else they are bound to face disqualification, said the court. The submission of caste validity certificate will be mandatory for the corporators winning the municipal corporation polls. The concerned person cannot be provided any relief on the pretext that the concerned committee delayed to issue the certificate.
