CST - Congress general secretary Vilas Rupwate has resigned from the party claiming insulting treatment from senior party leaders. He claimed that he was harassed for demanding the ticket in the MLC election and staging fast for Naxal supporter Sachin Mali’s release from the jail. He also alleged that Sanjay Nirupam and Ashok Chavan are anti-dalits. He also said that they will condemn this during Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi’s tour in the city.
