Mumbai- Maharashtra Congress General Secretary, Sachin Sawant has made a statement against the government for supporting the ideology of Nathuram Godse.
On Sunday, Congress held a peaceful protest without violence against the play. ‘Hey RAM Nathuram’ organized in Nagpur. Some people have started this play to glorify Nathuram Godse who assassinated Mahatma Gandhi.
According to Sachin Sawant, Congress party workers were protesting the play by just chanting slogans “Mahatma Gandhi ki Jai” but the government which supports the ideology of Nathuram Godse was not able to tolerate this.
