BJP's national president Rao Saheb Danve has been known to make news for using slandering words like ‘saale’ and ‘gaali’, on the issue of procurement of the ‘Arhar’ daal from farmers. In reaction to this, he was attacked by state Congress chief Ashok Chavan saying that Danve should apologise to the farmers.
Chavan further added that the Congress will go on a protest in all the states by the name of 'Saala Danve' and will write to the district magistrates of every district demanding that Danve should be given the title of 'sala'. Chavan stated that this statement of Rao Saheb Danwei is akin to rubbing the salt to the wounds of the farmers.
The BJP state president Raosaheb Danve, while addressing the BJP workers in Jalna on Wednesday, used abusive language saying that that the government has bought arhar in huge quantum so as to improve the state of the farmers, yet they keep crying over it.
