Mumbai - The state Lokayukta has decreed an interim compensation of rupees one lakh each for the families of the victims who lost their lives in the Hotel Kinara cylinder blast on 15 October 2015. In regard to that Rs 100/- DD (Demand Draft ) have been deposited in Chief Minister's relief fund on Wednesday by eight people.
Watchdog Foundation has expressed their dissatisfaction over the amount Lokayukta has decreed to the victims' family. State Government has money to splurge on various memorials but when it comes to payment of compensation for major tragedies, the state government coffers become empty stated Watchdog Foundation.
