Demand to change name of Oshiwara railway station

Mumbai – Veer Sena has demanded that Oshiwara railway station should be named as Ram Mandir station. The new station between Goregaon and Jogeshwari will be inaugurated on 27th November. The area where this railway station is being constructed has the 250-year-old Ram temple. The people residing in this area have the mention of this temple on their official papers such as electricity bills, Aadhar card, election ID card etc. Hence, the name of this railway station should be given as Ram temple station, demanded local residents. If their demand is not fulfilled a severe agitation will be held, said Niranjan Pal, president of Veer Sena, while addressing a press conference.
