Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut has questioned the circulation of a single page from the FIR registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Disha Salian death case, alleging that the development is part of a political conspiracy targeting party leader Aaditya Thackeray.

Raut said the FIR reportedly runs into 16 pages and questioned how only one page came into the public domain. He alleged that the selective circulation of the document had raised questions about the motive behind the development.

According to Raut, Aaditya Thackeray has no connection with Salian’s death and the matter is being revived to target the Thackeray family politically. He also alleged that the case was being used to put pressure on Aaditya Thackeray over political issues, including the delimitation process.

The CBI has registered an FIR in connection with the death of Disha Salian, who died in Mumbai in June 2020. The investigation was ordered to be taken up afresh following directions from the Bombay High Court.

Raut maintained that the earlier investigation by Mumbai Police had found no link between Aaditya Thackeray and the case. He said the ongoing legal process would ultimately establish the facts.

The developments have triggered renewed political debate around Salian’s death, with the CBI investigation now examining the allegations and circumstances surrounding the case. The allegations made by political leaders remain subject to investigation and judicial scrutiny.
