On Thursday, April 28, BJP's Maharashtra's BJP unit proclaimed that when it celebrates Maharashtra Day and Labour Day on May 1, it will initiate a "Booster Dose" rally. Herein, former state chief minister, Devendra Fadnavis will "give a dose" to Maha Vikas Aghadi's (MVA) leaders, reports stated.

According to accounts, Ashish Shelar, BJP leader elaborated on how Fadnavis's speech will be a "booster dose" for the workers of the BJP which will amplify their morale. In addition to this, he said the rally will be an accurate dose for the leaders of the MVA government.

Based on narratives, Shelar also took a dig at activists who have been claimed to hinder the party's "Pol Khol" campaign in Mumbai. They have been allegedly doing so by pelting stones.

Shelar was quoted in reports elaborating on how the "Booster Dose" rally won't just speak about the unsuccessful attempts to adversely affect the "Pol Khol" campaign but act as an eye-opener for the opposition regarding the many problems about the state as well as Mumbai.

It has been reported that following a two-year break because of COVID-19, the BJP will be elaboratively celebrating Maharashtra Day this year.

A party worker added that the members of the party will be present at the event which will be a cultural program depicting the state's tradition. It has been reportedly organized at the Somaiya Maidan in the city, cited accounts.
