Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has given up his claim for the post of Chief Minister in Maharashtra. Addressing a press conference, Eknath Shinde said that whatever decision PM Narendra Modi takes in this regard will be acceptable to him and his party. Acting CM Eknath Shinde said that he informed PM Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah about this by calling them.
The Mahayuti has won the assembly elections with a huge majority. The Mahayuti won 235 out of 288 seats in the state. After this victory, the first question that is arising is who will be the next CM? However, after the press conference it has become clear that the next Chief Minister of the state will be from BJP.
