The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has suffered a big setback in Dombivali. Former Standing Committee Chairman of Kalyan-Dombivli Vikas Mhatre has resigned from the post of BJP member. Mhatre has resigned along with his wife Kavita and office bearers of two wards.


Vikas Mhatre has left BJP saying that development work is not being done and funds are not being received. Vikas Mhatre's decision has sparked discussion in political circles. Vikas Mhatre has left BJP by giving information in a letter. It is being said that Mhatre's decision to leave the party has dealt a big blow to BJP before the elections.
