Former corporator of Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray group, ex-house leader Trishna Vishwasrao joined Shinde faction of Shiv Sena in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on Tuesday. Shinde announced at this time that Trishna Vishwasrao has been appointed as Shiv Sena Deputy Leader.
Trishna, who won four times as a corporator from Wadala area, was defeated in the 2017 elections. At that time, Uddhav Thackeray appointed her as a nominated corporator. She said that she joined Shiv Sena because she liked Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's way of working and working hard.

So far former corporators Yashwant Jadhav, Sheetal Mhatre, Samadhan Saravankar, Santosh Kharat, Dilip Lande, Parameshwar Kadam, Atmaram Chache, Vaishali Shewale, Bharti Bavdane, Mansi Dalvi, Amey Ghole, Kiran Landge, Chandravati More, Suvarna Karanje have joined the Shinde group.
