Congress leader, former MP Milind Deora joined Shiv Sena Shinde faction on January 14. It is said that he joined Shinde faction to get candidature from South Mumbai Lok Sabha constituency. In the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, the party entry was held at Varsha's residence. “With Milind Deora, the business class, former corporator, Jain Marwari, Gujarati community are happy that the business class has come to the party. All the Lakshmiputras have joined the party. Milind Deora said that more people would join the party in the next few days. So this is only a trailer, the picture is yet to come", said Chief Minister Eknath Shinde


Eknath Shinde further said that, “After becoming Chief Minister, I decided to spend every moment of my life for the state. Work with only positive thoughts without expressing negative emotions. Today we are very happy that we got a leader who has vision for the development of Mumbai as we think”.

The operation has to be done without inserting a needle

While welcoming Milind Deora, Chief Minister Shinde said, “Milind Deora has come here today. The sentiments expressed by Milind Deora while joining the party, I had similar feelings when I made the decision a year and a half ago. In the end, it takes courage to make a decision. When I took the decision, Srikanth's (MP Srikant Shinde) mother was first taken into confidence. After all, you have to open your mind by confiding in someone. Because there are some operations that need to be done without using needles. I did such an operation a year and a half ago."

Commissioners, MLAs take brooms because of me

“Every Sunday I go out early in the morning to do a deep clean drive in Mumbai. Because of me, commissioners, officers, MLAs also take brooms, pipes and wash roads. Critics may say something, but I focus on work. Due to the deep clean drive, the pollution level has come down from 350 to even below 100”, said Eknath Shinde.


I want to strengthen Modi - Deora
After joining the Shinde group, Milind Deora explained the rationale behind this decision in his speech. He said, “I am very emotional. I never thought that I would leave the Congress party. But, I am ending my 55-year association with the Congress party. My politics has always been positive. CM Shinde is hardworking and available to all. The Chief Minister understands the pain of the people. That is why I want to strengthen their hands. I also want to strengthen Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah through Shiv Sena.”
