Mulund - With an eye on municipal elections, political parties are trying every trick in the book to win the confidence of the voters. BJP MLA Tara Singh initiated a rice distribution programme in his constituency, Nanepada, Mulund. People were offered rice at Rs 2 per kg. All ration card holders were provided with rice. Singh told Mumbai Live, "I will always work for the poor, and will provide facilities to them." The beneficiaries were naturally happy with Singh's largesse.
