Goa Chief Minister Manohar Parrikar, who was in the United States for treatment for a pancreatic ailment for the last three months, has returned to Goa.
He landed in Mumbai on Thursday afternoon and then flew to his home - Goa - later in the day.
Parrikar was received by state Health Minister Vishwajit Rane. The 62-year-old CM was being treated at Memorial Sloan Catering Cancer Center in New York for the last three months

Before flying to the US, Parrikar had written to governor Mridula Sinha stating down his move. In his absence, the Cabinet Advisory Committee had been formed to guide the state administration. The committee included Francis D'Souza (BJP), Sudin Dhavalkar (Magoop) and Vijay Sardesai (Goa Forward Party). Separate ministries were expected to update the CM through video conferencing.
