Mumbai-Congress leader Ashok Chavan has criticized the RSS with reference to the protest staged by the Maratha community. He said that the BJP led state government has disappointed the Maratha community and alleged that this is an anti reservation government working on the RSS agenda.
He added "This government could press for Maratha reservation which was a decision taken by the then congress government. That is the reason why the Maratha community has not been able to get the benefits of reservation."
He demanded that the state government should take immediate cognizance of the state wide protest and provide reservation to the Maratha and the Muslim community.
