After the deadlock in Maharashtra politics came to an end with Shiv Sena forming government with Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), the trouble for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) remains on the rise.

Senior BJP leader Eknath Khadse has openly expressed his disappointment with the party leadership in Maharashtra after he was sidelined in the recently concluded assembly elections in the state.

Earlier, BJP fielded Khadse’s daughter, Rohini Khadse, instead of him to contested the assembly elections from Muktainagar in Jalgaon district. Khadse has a stronghold in Jalgaon and is a prominent figure in the OBC community.

However, Rohini Khadse had to face defeated while Eknath Khadse alleged that some BJP leaders played an active role in his daughter’s defeat.

On Saturday, Khadse submitted the “proof” of the alleged role of BJP leaders in her daughter’s defeat in the assembly polls while demanding strict action against the responsible leaders. The senior BJP leader submitted the “audio-video proof” to the party’s state unit President Chandrakant Patil.
