‘Baba’ asserts himself

Dadar – Admitting that there is infighting in the Congress party, former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan claims that this is a symbol that democracy exists in the party. While participating in the ‘Ungli Uthao’ campaign of Mumbai Live, Prithviraj Chavan spoke on many subjects. He said that he tried for good relations with the NCP when he was CM. “But I still do not know why the alliance with the NCP came to an end,” he claimed. While replying to a query about his alleged failure in checking corruption during his tenure, the former CM gave examples of his efforts to weed out corruption from his administration. ‘Baba’, as he is fondly called, gave his expert comments on various issues including Union Budget, demonetization, IT etc.
