Lok Sabha elections have been announced, yet the rift between Maha Uti and Maha Vikas Aghadi in Maharashtra still hasn't been resolved. There is a discussion that there is a rift going on from some seats in the Mahayuti. In this there are some places like Nashik, Yavatmal, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Dharashiv. Arjun Khotkar, the leader of the Shiv Sena Shinde group, has given valuable advice to the BJP regarding this seat allocation. Arjun Khotkar has said that 'BJP should maintain friendship with Shiv Sena, otherwise there will be resentment among Shiv Sainiks'.

What exactly did Arjun Khotkar say?

“All Shiv Sena MPs have come with us in faith. That's why friendship should be preserved. I think you (BJP) should leave those seats. Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar, Dharashiv, Yavatmal, Nashik seats belong to Shiv Sena. If you are still asking for these seats, it will naturally create resentment in the minds of Shiv Sainiks. Arjun Khotkar said, "It is very bad and it does not send a good message if people are asking for their rightful seats in such a way."

What did Khotkar demand from the party?

Arjun Khotkar said, "I also told the party that if Bharatiya Janata Party announced 20 seats, we too should have announced 12 or 13 seats of our MPs. However, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde is keeping his word. So he did what Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah decided. But Chief Minister Eknath Shinde should have announced the seats which were held by Shiv Sena. Now Nashik MP Hemant Godse has to show strength four times. So there is a possibility of confusion among people," said Arjun Khotkar.
