With Congress leading in three states amid the vote count of five state elections, the party workers celebrated the same across the country. Maharashtra Congress President Ashok Chavan on Tuesday evening conducted a press conference in Mumbai and attacked Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) while claiming to win in the upcoming Lok Sabha polls next year.

While addressing the press conference at Nariman Point, Chavan said that Congress has a clear majority in three states including Rajasthan, Chattisgarh, and Madhya Pradesh. “Modi, Machine, and Money – these things did not work in the state assembly elections,” asserted Chavan.

Earlier, Congress has accused Narendra Modi government of EVM rigging. While talking to the media, Chavan stated that the Modi wave has ended and BJP’s tactics of alleged EVM rigging could not be of use in assembly elections in five states.

Modi wave has ended. The year 2019 will witness BJP’s Ghar Wapsi. 'Modi ghar jaane wale hai aur Rahul Ji aane wale hain' (Modi will leave and Rahul Gandhi will form the government),” Chavan narrated the slogan.
