After the Election Commission announced the dates for the upcoming Maharashtra Assembly Elections 2019, the process for the same will begin September 27, Friday onwards. The Election Commission will issue the notification for the Vidhan Sabha elections on Friday which will mean the inception of the biggest political event in Maharashtra.

The Election Commission had earlier announced that the state will go to polls on October 21. On the other hand, interested candidates can fill their nominations by October 4 whereas the date for the scrutiny of the same is October 5.

After which, the counting of votes will be held on October 24 to announce which political party will form their government.

Meanwhile, with the issue of notification, the candidates will begin filing their nomination and the political parties will be releasing the list of candidates contesting Assembly Elections 2019. The nominations can be filed between September 27 and October 4 and candidates can also draw their nominations back by October 7.
