Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader alleged that his car was attacked by Shiv Sena party goons on Friday, August 20.
Taking it to Twitter, Somaiya said that while he was going to Akola and Washim districts in his car around 12:30 pm, Shiv Sena men threw three big stones, which hit the window panes.
He said that MLA Rajendra Patani, Tejrao Thorat and CISF personnel were also present in the car when the attack took place.
Police dispersed Shiv Sainiks
Kirit Somaiya alleged that Shiv Sena people already knew where the convoy would pass. So they already stood on that road to attack. Apart from stones, ink was also thrown at the car. Soon, the police and security forces used mild force to disperse the Shiv Sainiks.
