On the eve of the Budget session of Maharashtra Legislature, a meeting was organized where Shiv Sena heavily criticized Bharatiya Janta Party’s party leaders and CM Devendra Fadnavis over transparency issue. Shiv Sena demanded that Lokayukta, reporters, and opposition party leaders should get a chance to attend a cabinet meeting.
On Saturday, CM Devendra Phadnavis declared that in order to carry transparent work in deputy lokayuktas and Municipal corporation offices, a committee will be formed. CM also clarified that this committee will also study work on zilla parishad offices to bring in transparency.
