Vijayadashami is a festival celebrated to overcome adversity and evil tendencies. Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, on Sunday, October 25, wished the people of the state, on the eve of Dussehra, urging everyone to unite and destroy the coronavirus. Referring it to as 'Ravana' he said that together we can overcome this evil virus.
CM also expressed confidence that Maharashtra will move towards prosperity with new vigour by overcoming the crisis. Sharing his congratulatory message, he said that the nation is known for its strength and we have often successfully dealt with the crisis in the past. Therefore, if we stay united in the fight against the coronavirus by putting aside all differences, we shall definitely win. This time, once again, we are facing all the crises without hesitation, and to ensure everyone's safety, the government is running the 'My Family My Responsibility' campaign with an aim to get your support in defeating the virus. We need to stand with our Corona Warriors and stop the virus from reaching every house.
Till date, everyone has shown a lot of patience. All the religions have celebrated their festivals at home. As we celebrate Vijayadashami i.e. Dussehra, let the festival inspire us to overcome adversity, to overcome evil tendencies, thereby help us emerge victorious in every way.
Therefore, while celebrating the same with enthusiasm. Once again, let's follow the instructions of not getting carried away with the festivities and maintaining physical distance, wearing masks, washing hands frequently. CM has also expressed the belief that only through such efforts, one will be able to destroy the 'Ravana-like Coronavirus' and move towards prosperity and a better, healthier life.
