Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Anil Gote who wrote to Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis requesting him to dissolve the legislative council has been slapped with the Show Cause notice by the legislative council.
Legislative council members Hemant Takle, Sunil Tatkare, Bhai Jagtap, Jayant Patil were opposing Anil Gote’s statement. In reply, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Girish Bapat gave information about the show cause notices issued to Anil Gote. Bapat said that in three days Gote has to reply on the show cause notice otherwise action will be taken against him.
On Friday, CM Devendra Fadnavis warned MLA Anil Gote for his statement of dismissing legislative council. Even after the warning from Fadnavis, Anil Gote still seems to be stick with his words.
