Aaditya Thackeray shared that in his interactions he is asked two questions about the lockdown, “When will the lockdown be lifted and how long it is sustainable?” he said while adding that the only answer to these questions is controlling the spread of the coronavirus.

“It is important to save lives first. Our success lies in breaking the chain,” Aaditya Thackeray said informing that over 75,800 tests have been done so far by Maharashtra along with local bodies and only six per cent of those have been tested positive for COVID-19.

Maharashtra has been the worst-hit state in India due to the coronavirus and has crossed the 5,000-mark with nearly 5,218 COVID-19 cases. The infected cases in Mumbai have risen up to 3,451. Mumbai has become the hotbed city for the coronavirus outbreak across the country.
