Aarey - Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has proposed the 33 km land for the construction of car shed. Political parties are using this issue for their benefit. Environmentalists have also raised their voice to stop the construction of car shed, but to their dismay the car shed for Metro line 3 from Colaba to Seepz will be built in Aarey, Goregaon. MMRC (Mumbai Metro Rail Corporation) officials and Devendra Fadnavis have backed the project. The project would help in lessening the traffic congestion.
